A Message From Mr. Genger:

A New School Year brings many changes to students, parents and staff.  Unfortunately, one thing that hasn’t changed is the threat of COVID. Last year, all schools had an extremely steep learning curve.   Schools made adjustments throughout the year to attempt to meet the constantly changing needs of students and staff.  For the most part, I believe the entire Malta School(s) staff did a remarkable job in keeping all schools open, (Except for a couple days in the Elementary.)  Also, I what to thank parents and community members/businesses who continuously went over and above with their support of Malta Students and Staff.  Without these constant acts of kindness and sacrifice, it would have been extremely difficult to overcome the various adversities of last school year. Please remember, with the constant threat of COVID, all of the “new” school COVID procedures can be changed/implemented at a moments notice.  However, we will do our best, to do what is in the best interest of the students’ and staffs’ health and welfare. Here are two quotes that I am hoping to embody for the 2021 – 2022 School Year.  “Things turn out best for people who make the best of the way things turnout” - John Wooden &  “When work, commitment and pleasure all becomes one and you reach that deep well where passion lives, nothing is impossible.” - Anonymous
