Groups interested in having a float in the Homecoming Parade should contact the HS Office, 654-2002. The parade will be Sept. 10, starting from the HS parking lot at 2:00 PM.
MS/HS Parents, please send your child to school with a see-through water bottle. Water fountains are not on at this time due to COVID precautions but water bottle filling stations are available.
The Jostens Rep will meet with the Seniors, today, Aug. 30 at 2 PM and the Sophomores at 2:30 PM.
He will return at noon on Sept. 2 for students wishing to place orders.

HS FB parent meeting will be today at 5:30 pm in the auditorium followed by the blue/white scrimmage at 6:15 at the game field.
HS VB blue white scrimmage will be at 4:30 pm today followed by the parent meeting at 5:45 pm.
Middle school football practice for Aug. 24 will be at 3:00 pm to help accommodate Open House at the Elem. and Middle school.
5th Grade Meet and Greet your New Band Instrument - Aug. 19, Noon-2PM at the HS Band Room. Bring your instrument and learn how to put it together and take care of it. Come to this open house for a few minutes!
MS VB practice starts at 3:45 pm, Aug 18 at the Old Gym.
MS FB practice starts Aug 18. Go to the old gym at 3:30 pm to get your gear with practice at Murray Field to follow.
MS/HS Open House - Aug. 24th, 5-7 PM. Come visit and the school and meet the teachers at your leisure.
Malta Public Schools is now hiring substitute teachers. Subs are needed for all grade levels and subject areas. If you are interested, contact the Central Office at 406-654-1871 or stop by the Central Office and pick up an application.
As you do your back to school shopping for MS/HS students please keep in mind that large fabric style binders do not fit well in the lockers. Also keep in mind that all water bottles must be see through plastic and backpacks will not be carried from class to class this year.

Three Daily Bus Route Drivers ($16.70-$17.95/hr based on experience plus health insurance and the district will pay for the medical physical and training)
Activity Bus Drivers
Assistant High School Cross Country Coach
5th/6th Volleyball Coach
Middle School Football Coach

Malta High School has an assortment of old high school yearbooks that will be for sale. Stop by the High School on Aug. 4-5 and take a look. All yearbooks are $25.

At the July 2021 meeting of the Malta School Board, the following high school sports were added to the offerings of Malta High School: Boys Cross Country and Girls Wrestling. These sports are sanctioned by the Montana High School Association and will begin participating in high school competition during the 2021-22 school year. Boys Cross Country will take place in the fall of the year following the same season dates as Girls Cross Country. Girls Wrestling will take place during the winter and will follow the same season dates as Boys Wrestling.
We are excited to add these activities for the students of Malta High School and provide more opportunities of our students to compete.
