Mrs. Stacie Simanton is the September recipient of the Core 3 Award for the MS, nominated by Danica and an anonymous student. The Core 3 Award allows students to recognize any staff member who empowers students to learn, leads with kindness and by example, and exhibits excellence. The Core 3 reflects our mission statement of "Empowering Learners, Inspiring Leaders" and our motto of "A Tradition of Excellence." Danica nominated Mrs. Simanton because "she empowers me by being nice when I do not understand, or just being nice when someone interrupts or talks over her." The anonymous student said, "She leads by encouraging us to grow and challenge ourselves." Congratulations, Mrs. Simanton!

The Pep Band and Cheerleaders will be traveling to Havre tomorrow, Monday, September 15th, to support Mustang Football. Departure Time: 1:15 PM Blue slips will not be required. #GoBigBlue

Mustang Football Update: The Malta Mustangs will take the field at Tilleman Field (MSU-Northern) on Monday, September 15th for a rescheduled game against Conrad High School. Location: Tilleman Field, MSU-Northern Kick-off: 4:00 PM Admission: Free for all spectators Please note: the previously scheduled JV Football game vs. Havre JV has been canceled. We will work to reschedule that matchup for a future date. #GoBigBlue

Kickoff for the Mustang- Cowboy football game is set for 8:45 PM.

We are still in a lightning delay at Mustang Field. We do not have a start time set yet. We will continue to update.

We are monitoring the weather in anticipation of the Mustang Homecoming football game tonight. We are anticipating delays in kickoff time. We will update as we get closer to 7:00.

The Homecoming Parade will be Friday, Sept. 12 at 2:00 PM. If you are interested in being in the parade, line up in the HS parking lot by 1:45 PM. The route is included here:

There has been some recent changes to sports schedules.

Thursday, September 11 - MS Volleyball @ Lewistown was added to the schedule.
  7th Grade - 5:30 PM
  8th Grade - 6:30 PM

Monday, September 29 - HS JV Football vs Scobey @ Mustang Field - 5:00 PM was also added to the schedule.

The band treated the school to "random acts of pep band" today.

Fall activities start this weekend. Cross Country travels to Wolf Point on Friday. Football hosts Huntley Project on Friday and Volleyball will host the Malta Tournament starting at 9:00 AM.
Remember Activity Tickets are available for purchase at the high school office. You must have your activity ticket to be admitted, there will not be a list of ticket holders at the gate. Activity Ticket prices are as follows: Family - $200; Adult - $75; Student - $30.
