Malta Public Schools

On March 13, the Malta Board of Trustees voted to adopt a 4 Day Week for Malta Schools starting in the 2024-25 school year. When the 2024-25 school calendar is approved and as other details of this transition are finalized, we will share that information accordingly. We appreciate all of the public input throughout this process and thank you for your continued support of our students and schools.

Congratulations to our student-athletes! Neva Jacobson, Denvyr Tuss, Bohdi Brenden, and Treyton Wilke all receive 1st team all-conference honors, as well as all-state selections. Elly Anderson and Dawson Hammond received 2nd team all-conference honors.

Congratulations to the M-ette basketball team on a successful season. Our girls concluded the season with a district championship, divisional championship and a state semi-final appearance. We are incredibly proud of your hard work and determination. Thank you Seniors for your leadership and years of dedication. You have made a lasting impact on our community. Thank you Coach Hammond and Coach Anderson for all your time and effort spent with a special group of kids. We are proud of you. GO BIG BLUE!

MALTA HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ANNOUNCEMENT:

Ms. Hubers Biology class had a video conference today with Jenifer Obrigewitch who is a Research Scientist at a BioTech Lab in Boston (and daughter of Mrs. Crasco). They discussed genetic research and its uses in medicine, specifically cancer research. We want to thank her for her time.

We are excited to have Missoula Children's Theater back in Malta this year. It will take place March 18th-23rd and will have two performances. Please look at the picture for additional information. This is open to K-8 students!

In order to accommodate the fans, parents, students, and staff who plan to attend the State BB Tournament, there will be no school on March 7-8. Congratulations to the M-ettes for qualifying for the State BB Tournament. #MightyMalta

Malta High School is partnering with Phillips County Prevention to sponsor "The Dangerous Truth About Today's Marijuana" by Laura Stack, Founder of Johnny's Ambassadors. There will be an evening session for adults, March 18, 6:00 PM in the HS Auditorium. A free dinner will be provided at 5:00 PM in the HS Cafeteria.
